Hi everyone,
We’ve made an important change to how negative effects from excessive buffing work.
Until now, the system had a clear issue:
👉 Whether you had a 7% or a 90% chance of triggering a negative effect…
👉 The punishment was exactly the same.
And that didn’t feel fair.
🔧 What’s changing?
From now on, the higher your accumulated risk, the harsher the consequence.
Instead of a flat penalty, negative outcomes now scale based on how far you push your dragons.
📊 New system overview
-
🟢 Low risk (<20%)
→ Light temporary debuff (1 turn, mild impact) -
🟡 Medium risk (20–60%)
→ Stronger debuffs, longer duration, more effects -
🔴 High risk (60–80%)
→ Severe penalties affecting multiple stats -
🔥 Extreme risk (80% )
→ Heavy temporary debuffs with major impact
(this is the danger zone…)
🧪 What does this mean for gameplay?
-
You can still push your dragons hard…
-
But now overbuffing becomes a real strategic decision
👉 Take small risks → small consequences
👉 Take big risks → be ready to pay the price
🎯 Design goal
We want buffing to feel:
-
Powerful
-
Risky
-
Fair
Now, the system reflects that properly.
