After an update full of mutations and decisions, the new version 1.0.3 of Master of Cladia arrives, the first of the year, bringing important changes for novice alchemists who decide to take their first steps on the continent of Cladia.
Version 1.0.3 introduces significant improvements aimed at reducing the entry friction for new players and saving time for veteran players by easing the burden of performing external calculations.
Campaigns
The entry barrier posed by learning all the mechanics of Master of Cladia has been a major issue, highlighted on multiple occasions. From the development team, we are aware that the information provided by the game regarding certain interactions leaves much to be desired; our first proposal to address this problem comes after months of planning and development.
Version 1.0.3 introduces a new game mode: Campaigns. Players will take control of a renowned alchemist and must complete a series of challenges and missions to overcome the different scenarios. Each campaign will feature a maximum of 10 scenarios.

Each scenario features its own selection panel, with a custom map.
Reimagining the Tutorials
Alongside the campaign system comes a new version of the game’s tutorials. Now, instead of appearing as a pop-up during a normal match, the tutorial is fully contained within the first available campaign: The Ascent. Throughout the scenarios, the Grand Alchemist Jaxun will accompany you, explaining the game’s core mechanics. As of version 1.0.3, the old tutorial will no longer be available.
Incubating Egg Viability
A new tab has been added to the egg details window to indicate the viability of an egg currently being incubated. Viability represents the probability that an egg will fail to hatch, be considered aberrant, and need to be discarded.
To prevent more experienced alchemists from wasting time performing external calculations, and to assist new players, starting with version 1.0.3 the incubator will perform a pre-calculation of viability. This information will be shown to the player as a label based on a set of ranges. The list of viability ranges is as follows:
-
Unviable → 0% viability
-
Very Low
-
Low
-
Moderate
-
High
-
Very High
-
Viable → 100% viability

Combat Victory Probability
The simulation’s accuracy now uses the new ranking system:
-
Unreliable
-
Reliable
-
Very Reliable
App Rating Window
Starting with version 1.0.3, after using the application for a certain number of hours, an app rating window will appear. This window will redirect the information to the corresponding store depending on the platform.
Balance
Brilliance and Feat Selection
The new Feat selection mechanic has been well received but has significantly impacted match balance. It is now much easier to obtain legendary Feats with minimal effort; for this reason, the probability table has been adjusted to better balance the ranges.

Mutations
A new mutation distribution system has been implemented to prevent the same statistic from mutating multiple times in a row. After a statistic mutates, the system will prioritize mutating all other statistics before selecting the same one again.
Action Execution Order
The execution of the ritual spell "Apotheosis" will now occur at the end of the turn, allowing players to stop its casting during the last preparation turn.
Units
The unit Guayota now possesses the perk "Tyrant King".
Perks
