Ongoing Games Overview 01-04-26

Greetings, Alchemists!

We meet once again to discuss the current state of the ongoing matches. As we did in last week's blog, we will comment on what has been happening using the public information available to all players. We do this to ensure the game remains balanced, as in the world of Cladia, information is often more valuable than talisman fragments.

This week, the active matches are "Novato Party," "Partida Masiva," and "Team Battle!", while "Nuevitos y tranquilitos" came to an end last Friday.

1. Novato Party

"Novato Party" is the match reserved exclusively for our new Alchemists. As we mentioned last week, the player leading the game was Rascor3000. Not only was he dominating because he was the only player with talismans, but he was also the highest threat by a significant margin... However, step by step, another rookie is closing in. Ayami is close to overtaking Rascor3000 in threat level.

This is the in-game player ranking at Turn 22.

This is the threat evolution per turn during the match.

We can see that the purple line (Ayami) is dangerously approaching the red line (Rascor3000). Although it is still too early to call it, and IkerDiCa is also closing the gap... it seems this rookie match is showing great promise.

2. Partida Masiva

As we noted in the previous blog, Partida Masiva is a record-breaking game in the world of Cladia, as it features the highest number of human players we’ve had to date.

Threat levels throughout the 17 turns of the match.

Current in-game ranking.

From what we can see, the new player Ayami has been eliminated since the last blog. It is suspected to be at the hands of Jaxun, as usual, but nothing is known for certain.

Furthermore, there has been quite a bit of movement in the rankings. The previous leader, Rezo, has dropped 10,000 points from one week to the next... Does he have his dragons in Limbo? Because he still holds his talisman.
For the newcomers: when one of your towers is destroyed, if you had dragons in that region, they go to Limbo. It’s like a "holding bag" where they spend the turn without costing you anything, but they cannot be used. On the following turn, they attempt to return to one of your towers... if there is no room, they simply disappear.

We also see that Salchiperro has lost his talisman, likely snatched by TheFool. Currently, the threat leader is Jaxun, followed closely by Toboteb. Strangely, Jaxun has NOT started his usual early talisman collection. Only the gods of Cladia know what uncertain future awaits us in this match.

3. Team Battle!

Team Battle! is a quite peculiar match. It is only the second team-based game in the history of Master of Cladia. As we’ve mentioned before, the previous match of this type was the longest in our history, lasting a total of 70 turns. Let’s hope this one isn't quite as long!

Current in-game ranking:

Player threat levels up to Turn 20.

* Color legend for player threat at Turn 20.

We can see that Aarón has lost the leadership he held since Turn 1. The new threat leader is Toboteb, followed very closely by Aarón and Salchiperro. However, the leader in terms of talismans is Juanlu, with a total of 2.

Since this is a team game, we have created charts for Joint Threat (the sum of both members' threat) and Average Threat (the sum divided by 2). With "Joint Threat," we see how well the members are doing "individually," while "Average Threat" shows how the group performs as a unit.

We’ve put together some charts using Jaxun’s magic book, "Eksel," to visually compare the groups:

* Joint Threat Comparison.

* Average Threat Comparison.

Esta semana BetoBot y Raimon ha superado a los anteriores lideres, el equipo Ayami y Aarón.

This week, BetoBot and Raimon have overtaken the previous leaders, the Ayami and Aarón team.

However, if we look at the rankings, three groups currently hold 2 talismans: Toboteb & Tim, JonatanGil & Lcapote, and the team of Salchiperro (El yuca) & Rumomo. There are 8 talismans scattered across the world, and by Turn 11, only 1 remains uncollected.

Rumor has it that the decline of Aarón and Ayami’s team has something to do with an incursion by Juanlu into their region.

5. Conclusion

That’s all for this week, Alchemists! The atmosphere is slowly heating up, and the "first blood" has already been drawn, so we’ll likely have plenty to tell you next week. It is worth noting that these matches underwent a game update during their progress, which caused a one-turn delay.
